VVCR Europe (VVCR) wants to make a lasting contribution to improved traffic safety based on creative, innovative ideas and action. For more than 33 years now VVCR has been working towards reducing the risks associated with traffic. Every year VVCR trains more than 33,000 trainees varying from professional drivers to newcomers to our roads to recognise, avoid and control risks. Operating from its conveniently located centres in Drachten, Gouda, Lelystad and Rijssen, the organisation’s internationally trained instructors help trainees on their own proprietary networks and public roads or on-site.
VVCR operates in accordance with the strict standards of the DVR (Deutscher Verkehrs-sicherheitsrat) and is ISO 9001 certified. In the Netherlands VVCR is a trendsetter and market leader when it comes to developing and providing services and products relating to traffic safety and professional training. Together with us, VVCR wishes to achieve the maximum return on its educational and training endeavours. It does so within a specific industry, an organisation and naturally in relation to the person behind the steering wheel! This varies from coordinating driver’s licences, professional training for chauffeurs serving executives, government officials, and doctors, and taxi, police, fire brigade and ambulance drivers, incentives and harm-prevention projects. VVCR also provides advanced driving skills training and tests for drivers of motorbikes, cars, minibuses, vans, trucks and trailers, buses and tourist coaches to ambulances, and police, fire brigade and defence force vehicles. Apart from its educational and training programmes, its operations in the field of trauma assistance, simulators and insurance also provide significant added value in its efforts to improve traffic safety.
